Planning Committee

Established to consider the environmental aspects of development in the village and immediate surrounding area, and to monitor the activities of private developers, local authorities and public undertakings, including where appropriate such matters as highways, footpaths, and transport.

 Membership – Maximum 7 Members including 2 Ex Officios

Finance Committee

A Committee of the Parish Council established to decide on Parish Council financial management, risk management, and any other matter not falling within the terms of reference of another Committee of the Parish Council.

 

Membership – Maximum 7 Members including 2 Ex-Officios

Gateway Committee

A Committee of the Parish Council established to oversee and manage projects relating to the development and promotion of the village as a Gateway to the North East Wolds.

 

Membership – Maximum 6 Members including 2 Ex Officios and 2 Non Members (Voting)

Premises Committee

A Committee of the Parish Council established to oversee all buildings, land, vehicles and equipment owned by the Parish Council which collectively forms the asset register.

 

Membership – Maximum 7 Members including 2 Ex Officios

Staffing Committee

Established to consider and make recommendations to the Council in relation to the deployment, welfare, pensions, remuneration, recruitment, training, qualifications, health and safety aspects and other conditions of service of all employees and to ensure the Council’s compliance with current legislation governing employment matters, including grievance, disciplinary, whistle-blowing, and equal opportunity policies and procedures

 

Membership – Maximum 8 Members including 2 Ex Officios
